In order to assure the customer of a top quality plastic injection mold at the lowest possible price, SunRon International, LLC assesses all available production options as soon as the client requests a quote. Quotes are generated from both domestic and international partners. After close analysis of competing quotes, SunRon International prepares a recommendation based on each toolmaker’s quality, price and ability to meet deadlines. If producing the tool internationally is the optimal choice, a purchase order is prepared and sent to the toolmaker.
A SunRon team member is assigned to travel overseas to manage the project and provide status updates to the client. SunRon engineers review the latest data to ensure exact specifications are met. The SunRon team assists the toolmaker with development of the mold design. Following the completion of the design, the client has the opportunity to review the design and provide feedback.
Upon completion of the plastic injection mold, it is shipped to SunRon International, LLC. SunRon produces prototype plastic parts for review, makes necessary engineering changes and performs a final inspection. The team cleans, inspects and prepares the mold for shipping to the client, where it is prepped for production.
